You can file I-9 electronically in a system that is paperless and has built-in error-detecting features, drop-down title menus for acceptable documents, e-signature solutions, 90-60-30 day management email alerts of expiring work documents, comprehensive management reporting options, automated capability to terminate and purge I-9 Forms per DHS retention guidelines, automated email notifications of processing requirements as well as SSA and DHS status changes up to the final resolution.

I-9 Social Security Number Verification Service (SSNVS)

Employers can now fulfill federal requirements by identifying current employees with mismatched Social Security Numbers (SSN) through the Social Security Administration’s SSN Verification Service. This service is intended to be used on current employees post-hire. (Immediately after hire is the soonest this product can be used.)  You receive confirmation that the SSN matches the employee’s name and date of birth.

Employment Eligibility Verification (EVP)

AmericanChecked provides access to E-Verify which is an internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows employers to verify the employment eligibility of their employees, regardless of citizenship, i.e., verify that any employee is legally authorized to work in the United States. Based on the information provided by the employee on their Form I-9, EVP checks this information electronically against records contained in the DHS and SSA databases. EVP should be used on new hires, only; it cannot be used to screen independent contractors and must be completed within 3 days of hire.

SSN Track

According to industry experts, the fraudulent use of a Social Security Number (SSN) is considered to be one of the most abused pieces of personal information. The SSN Track may turn up items such as whether the SSN was issued by the SSA or fraud alerts have been placed on the SSN. It may also indicate that the SSN is likely to belong to a deceased person (and therefore not the individual screened). Results may require the use of an alternative method to verify that the SSN matches the subject. Over 360 sources are consulted when performing this search. When you order the SSN Track, you’ll also receive the Address Locator Report.

Address Locator Report:  Over 360 sources are consulted when performing this electronic search. Resources such as credit headers, the post office, utility bills, magazine subscriptions, UPS/Fed Ex billings, etc., are consulted. This product provides up-to-date name/address data to help confirm applicant-provided information. This product is considered industry-standard.

Please note:  On June 25, 2011, the SSA began randomly assigning the SSN to protect the integrity and extend the longevity of the 9-digit SSN nationwide. To verify any SSN after this date, we recommend using the Consent Based Social Security Number Verification

Consent Based Social Security Number Verification (CBSV)

CBSV provides absolute validation of the following personal identifiers:  full name, social security number, date of birth and death indicator. This product can be used for both pre and post-hire screening and matches name to number. Information is obtained directly from the Social Security Administration’s Master File and Death Index.
