Protect your tribe and organization through compliance regulations.
AmericanChecked’s Julie Hakman will be presenting with Joe Osterlo, director of compliance and investigations at Morongo Gaming Agency, and Joe Halloran, an attorney with the Jacobson Law Group, on “Compliance Core Competencies…What Regulators Need to Know” at the 2017 New Mexico Tribal Gaming Symposium.
In today’s litigious society, it is more important than ever for tribes to protect themselves from lawsuits. By shoring up potential pitfalls in the hiring process and implementing processes and procedures that force compliance can greatly decrease a tribe’s risk of a lawsuit.
AmericanChecked will also have a table at the symposium. Team members will be available to answer questions about licensing solutions for employees and vendors as well as employment and background screening.
The two-day symposium will be held November 7 – 8 at the Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, N.M.
